The Adventure Tourism and Business Operations (ATBO) program is ideal if you are passionate about adventure, sustainability, the environment and the outdoors and interested in working in the Adventure Tourism industry.
Our in-depth one-year certificate or two-year diploma programs can provide credits toward a tourism degree while allowing you to develop outdoor guiding and outdoor leadership skills along with valuable management and business skills.

The ATBO program consists of classroom study, lab work, field trip experiences and a six-week practicum.*  As a part of the program, you have the opportunity to earn many national certifications and take part in experiences that you can build into a valuable portfolio.

* The six-week practicum may take place in or outside of the Province and is arranged by the student with assistance from the program instructor and the College's Career and Placement Officer. Travel to employer sites may be required.
