Bridge to Health, Trades and Technology
This is a two to three-semester program for those who wish to continue their training in a health, trade or technical program area. It is designed to provide students with the opportunity to gain the skills, knowledge, academic credentials and attitudes to achieve success in many fields of study.
This program is for students who are interested, highly motivated and prepared to work very hard to satisfy the prerequisites and acquire the skills to successfully enter COTR's health, trades and technical programs.
Upon successful completion, each student should have, not only a BC Adult Graduation Diploma, but also a secured seat in any one of the following three program areas:
BC Adult Graduation Diploma plus a seat in one of the following if all of the prerequisites have been achieved: Nursing (BSN), Practical Nursing, Resident Care/Home Support, Dental.
BC Adult Graduation Diploma plus completion of the Fundamental program along with the First Level of Apprenticeship Technical Training in: Carpentry, Heavy Duty Mechanics, Automotive, Electrical, Cook Training.
BC Adult Graduation Diploma plus Admission requirements for Information Technology Applied Computer program.
