Our Community
The City of Fernie, which houses the main Elk Valley campus, is situated 48 kilometers from the Alberta border.
The nearest centers are Cranbrook; a one hour drive west, Sparwood; 29 kilometers northeast, and Calgary, a 302 kilometer drive. The backdrop of the city of Fernie is provided by the front range of the Rocky Mountains and the beauty of the Elk River which flows through it.
