Student Opportunities Positions
General Information
The Student Opportunities Fund provides College of the Rockies students with the opportunity for on-campus, part-time employment. As well as some extra income, these jobs can help you gain valuable work experience.
Student Opportunities Fund support is provided through student tuition.
Student Opportunities positions are often available at the Gym, Residence, science labs and computer labs, and are usually available at all COTR campuses.
Guidelines:
All work must be employment at one of the College's campuses.
Students employed must be College of the Rockies students (preference is given to full time students).
Students must have the necessary qualifications, skills and abilities to complete the work.
Employment offered to students is on a part-time basis (i.e. under 20 hours per week) and is to be provided to as many students as reasonable/possible.
Student Opportunity job postings are posted on the "Student Opportunities" Job Board outside Student Services and our electronic job board.
Pay Rate
The pay rate for student employees is $11/hour + 4% vacation pay ($11.44 per hour).
