Aboriginal Education Support Worker (AESW) (University Studies)
AESW is a two-year, full time diploma program, designed for individuals with previous experience as AESW's and those interested in working with and supporting elementary, middle and secondary Aboriginal students. The AESW program includes twenty academic, cultural and applied courses. There are also two practicum experiences designed to prepare AESW's for the unique needs of Aboriginal students in the classroom.
Aboriginal Financial Manager program (AFM) (Business Administration)
The AFM is a two year diploma program which combines course work in finance, business law, math, computers, economics, cost accounting and English with Aboriginal leadership strategies, strategic community economic planning, managing human resources and financial management. All courses are offered at the Cranbrook campus, by video conferencing and/or online for added flexibility. The program is offered in partnership with the Aboriginal Financial Officers Association of Canada.
