Aboriginal Education Support Worker program

The Aboriginal Education Support Worker (AESW) program is a two-year, full-time diploma program.
The diploma program is designed for individuals with experience as Aboriginal Education Support Workers, and for those with an interest in working with and supporting Aboriginal students in public, Aboriginal or private K-12 schools.
The AESW program includes 20 academic, cultural and applied courses. There are also two practicum experiences which were designed to prepare Aboriginal Education Support Workers with the unique knowledge and skills their schools need to achieve greater success in supporting Aboriginal students, their families and communities in a culturally appropriate and respectful manner.
