Dave Wan, Program Coordinator
Dave holds a Masters Degree in Outdoor Education, and has worked professionally in the Adventure Tourism Industry in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Greenland, and the USA.

Andrea Eitle

Andrea Eitlle, Backpacking Guide/Instructor

Andrea Eitle began one of her first jobs working in the adventure tourism industry as a snowboard instructor while still in high school.
 

She completed a certificate in Adult Education, a degree in Ecotourism and Outdoor Leadership from Mount Royal University, and participated in a field school at the Arctic Research Institute in Nunavut where she studied the cultural impacts of hunting tourism in northern communities.

Todd Craig

Todd Craig, Rock Climbing and Ski Touring Guide/Instructor
Todd Craig has been ACMG, IFMGA mountain guide since 1998. He has guided and taught in the outdoor field extensively for the last 20 years.

Rich Marshall

Rich Marshall, Ice Climbing Guide/Instructor
Rich is an ACMG/UIAGM mountain guide member since 1986. Rich grew up in Golden BC. He guides year round in all facets of the mountain industry.

Laura completed her B.Ed at U.B.C. in 2003 and now holds a Masters Degree in Environmental Education and Communications through Royal Roads University.

Gideon ‘Montana’ Smith

Gideon ‘Montana’ Smith, Computer and Natural Interpretation Instructor
Gideon completed a geology program at Cambrian College (now the Sault College) in Ontario.  He worked professionally for four years as a field geophysicist and topographic surveyor in various parts of Canada.

Glen Reisenhofer

Glen Reisenhofer, Backpacking Guide/Instructor
Glenn Reisenhofer has been climbing, hiking, skiing and backpacking all over North America since 1982. However, his favourite place to play is in the Columbia and Rocky Mountains of Canada.

Paul Harwood, Whitewater Kayaking Instructor/Avalanche Skills Instructor
Paul grew up on the Ottawa River, but has called Golden home for the last 12 years. He has been working in the whitewater industry for the past 18 years,

Chris holds a degree in Business Administration and has worked professionally as a kayaker and guide for the last 15 years.  Chris is a certified coach and Master Learning Facilitator with Canoe Kayak Canada.

Magi Scallion

Magi Scallion - Instructor
Magi has been organizing major outdoor sport events in a variety of pursuits for since 1999.  She has a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA from Queen’s University.  Golden has been her home since 2013.

Magi has competed at an international level in a variety of sports, including cross country ski world cups and world mountain running championships.
