It was in a high school accounting course where Kelsey Hyggen first learned about accounting courses offered at College of the Rockies. As a Cranbrook native, the idea of starting her education close to home was appealing.

The following blog post was submitted by Emma Inman. Emma took part in an internship through College of the Rockies in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where she served as Tourism and Business Operations Officer with the Catering and Tourism Training Institute. Emma, who grew up in Elkford, BC and now lives in Cranbrook, graduated in 2018 with a Business Management diploma in Marketing from College of the Rockies. In 2017, she represented the College in Mwanza, Tanzania spearheading a project at a local vocational training institute that focused on gender equality and female enrollment in trades programs. Emma also works part-time, contributing to the marketing and operations of Cranbrook's Key City Theatre.
