How do I purchase books for my Distance Course?

All textbooks are available from College of the Rockies Bookstore. Customers living in the Cranbrook area can shop in person (please see main page for business hours), but we also make it easy for students in our regional campus communities.

If you live in or near Kimberley, Creston, Fernie, Invermere or Golden, on request we will ship your online course books at no charge to the local COTR campus. Regional campus offices will accept payment by debit, Visa, Mastercard, cash or cheque.

Mail Order / Fax
You may order your texts by mail or fax using the printable Textbook Order Form:

The form includes details of shipping/handling charges within B.C. and Alberta. For other destinations, please enquire for the shipping cost. Be sure to provide complete information on the order form, including your email address.

NOTE:
Should you decide to order your books by mail, fax or phone, please do so as early as possible prior to the course start date. Orders received immediately before or after the start of the semester may be delayed, due to the large number of on-campus students requiring Bookstore services.
 

How do I pay for my books?

Visa or Mastercard may be used for any distance order , whether by phone, fax or mail. If you wish to pay by cheque or money order, please mail payment (including GST and shipping/handling) directly to College of the Rockies Bookstore with your order form.

Please note that 5% GST is added to all listed book prices.

What if I need to return my book for a refund?

If you drop the course for any reason and are unable to return your text in person, please read our Returns Policy and call or email the Bookstore for instructions.

SAVE YOUR RECEIPT. Any return MUST be accompanied by the original cash register receipt and a copy of your Textbook Order Form. The shipping/handling charge is not refundable.
