Cycling & Race Preparation | $295 + GST

Course Overview:

Want to ride faster or beat a personal best?  Join our, elite cyclist trainer, for a fun-filled, two month cycling/training course!  This course is suitable for all cyclists, whether you prefer XC mountain biking, road riding, endure or anything in between  The instructor will cover heart rate zones, race preparation, nutrition and training plans during classroom sessions, and take you outdoors for fun and challenging training and conditioning activities.

Outdoor sessions will include:  Cycling (mtn. bike trails but may go on road)  Cycling specific strength training  Foam rolling and stretching techniques

Prerequisites:  students will be required to have a heart rate monitor and a way to record HR (garmin,etc.), a mountain bike, helmet and appropriate clothing.  Minimum of intermediate bike handling skills and average fitness level.

Instructor Dylan Bailey is an elite cyclist and trainer with over 20 years racing experience.  He has competed at the Elite & Pro level for the Canada Cup Circuit, and place first at the Masters National Championships in Canmore.
