Canadian Firearms Safety Course Non-Restricted | $149 + GST
Did you know your PAL ( Possession and Acquisition License ) is required for purchasing, inheriting or borrowing a firearm, and purchasing ammunition?
Gain the knowledge to feel confident about safe handling, legal requirements for transporting, storing and display of unrestricted firearms, operating firearms and the different firing techniques. Explore the evolution of firearms, major parts, types and actions. Get prepared to meet the requirements to apply for your Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) through theory and extensive hands on experience being exposed to many different types of decommissioned non restricted firearms and ammunitions.
By law, students have to be at least 12 years old. Check with the examiner regarding age requirements for licensing or review the RCMP website.
Must bring ID.
Students must review the Canadian Firearms Safety Course book, 2014 Edition at least one week prior to class start date.
