George Dunne, M.Ed. (Counselling)
For the past 30 years I’ve had the opportunity to work with students in various learning institutions throughout Canada. My training is in personal and career counselling, with an interest in crisis intervention and student wellness. Certification: Registered Clinical Counsellor (R.C.C.) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, Registered Psychotherapist, College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (C.C.C.) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
Education: B.Ed. (Brock), Dip. Ed. (St. Francis Xavier), and a M.Ed. (Counselling) from Acadia University in Nova Scotia. In addition, I have a postgraduate certificate in disabilities from Cambrian College and am a Diploma Candidate of the C.G. Jung-Institute in Zurich.
Chris McHolm, B. Ed., Graduate Student in M. A (Counselling Psychology)
My passion revolves around helping individuals find creative ways to better themselves. I am currently undertaking my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I will be offering flexible hours this term, to provide counselling services on the weekend and in the evening. Please be in contact with Student Services for further details.
Certification: Professional Student Member with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Certified in Mental Health First Aid by the Mental Health Commission of Canada. Trained in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training.
Education: B. Ed. (University of Saskatchewan), Outdoor Leadership Certificate (Columbia), Graduate student completing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology (Yorkville University).
