Adult Upgrading / High School Completion

- Have you selected a program and need to meet the admission requirements?

- Would you like to complete your Adult Graduate Diploma?

- Do you want to brush up on your skills?

Upgrading can help you meet your goal. The College of the Rockies offers several ways to complete your upgrading; instructor led and on-line classes or self-paced/directed study. Meeting with an Educational Advisor will help determine which option is best for you.

How to upgrade

Call and make an appointment with an Educational Advisor. Make sure to bring your high school transcripts and transcripts from any post-secondary institutions you have previously attended. During the appointment you can discuss your long term educational goals and develop a plan to complete your upgrading. To make an appointment, call or email Student Services at your local campus.

An Educational Advisor will determine if you can directly register in a course or if you need to complete an academic skills assessment to determine where it is best to start. An assessment is not a test but a tool that will help determine the appropriate course level to start your upgrading. There is no fee to write an academic skills assessment and they can be written at most campuses.  After your assessment has been marked, an Educational Advisor will meet with you to give you your results and help you develop a plan for your upgrading.
