Emergency Medical Responder

Emergency Medical Responder

The Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course is designed to meet the needs of the BC Occupational First Aid Attendant who wishes to upgrade their skills or become eligible as an EMR attendant for the Ambulance service or the northern oil patch.

Increasingly, heavy industry and our provincial ambulance service are looking for more procedures, more training and a standard that only a governing licensing body can provide. This course is intended to prepare the candidate to sit the examination for the prospective provincial jurisdiction.
