<p><strong>Duties: </strong>The College of the Rockies, in partnership with the Ktunaxa Nation Council, is looking for one auxiliary English Instructor and one auxiliary math instructor in our Access Education department.  This work will be done as a community based program at St. Mary’s.  The courses will be high school equivalent up to grade 12 in English and grade 11 in math.  Each instructor can expect to instruct approximately nine hours per week in late morning, early afternoon or early evening sessions.  This assignment will last for approximately 16 weeks.
<p>
Duties:  To provide instruction and learner support to students taking English and/or math classes in a self-paced or online format.  Instruction will often involve assisting students with educational and life challenges.  </p>
<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong>An undergraduate degree in English, math or Education.  Successful experience working with adult students in a multi-level classroom is also necessary.  Any training or experience teaching aboriginal adults would be an asset.

<p><strong>Duties: </strong>Typewell is a speech-to-text service for students with hearing loss.  A trained transcriber uses specialized software to transcribe – meaning for meaning – what is said in college lectures and discussions which the student reads on a linked laptop computer. <p><strong>Qualifications: </strong>Exceptional oral and written English skills and keyboarding speed of a minimum 60 words-per-minute (without error) are required.  Excellent listening skills are essential as are interpersonal and communications skills.  Must be able to multi-task as well as problem solve and diffuse difficult situations.  Previous post-secondary experience is preferred as is the enjoyment of the college setting.  The successful incumbent must be flexible, adaptable and willing to work in a variety of settings.</p>]]>

<p><strong>Duties: </strong>You will provide instruction and learner support to students in our Access Education (ABE) Program.  You will instruct adult students primarily in the areas of math and English; however, other sciences (biology and chemistry) and social science courses up to a grade 12 level are delivered. Courses are taught in a directed study (self-paced) or instructor-led (semestered classes) format.  Instruction will often involve assisting students with learning disabilities who face various life challenges.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong>An undergraduate degree in Arts, Science or Education with a focus on the teaching of individuals with special needs and/or literacy concerns is required.  Successful experience working with adult students in a multi-level classroom is also necessary.  Formal training in English as a Second Language is also an asset.

<p><strong>Duties: </strong>The College Bookstore sells a variety of products including textbooks, school supplies, snack items, and a variety of crested merchandise including clothing. You will be responsible for many of the day to day activities within the Bookstore including customer sales and service, stocking shelves and maintaining spreadsheets.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong>Grade 12 and completion of the Office Administration & Technology program with a minimum of one year experience in a customer service role (preferably in a retail environment) are required.  Proficiency in spreadsheet applications, good keyboarding skills, and excellent customer service skills are also necessary.

<p><strong>Duties: </strong>The Learning Resource Centre requires a reference librarian position at the Cranbrook campus to work with students and faculty in the provision of reference services for print and electronic resources and to participate in the delivery of library instruction services 14 hours a week. This position will be of interest to an individual with a strong customer service ethic and current experience providing reference and instructional service in a broad range of subject areas.  A broad knowledge of print and electronic resources for a wide variety of disciplines required, excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required.  Demonstrated skill in planning and delivering instruction and the development of instructional materials is required.  The ability to work effectively in a collegial team environment is a must. </p>
<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong>Candidates must have an ALA accredited MLIS or equivalent degree in hand.  Academic library experience is an asset but not required.  The successful candidates will provide in-person and online reference service in all disciplines.  Chat reference experience is an asset.

<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong>Current registration in CRNBC or CRPNBC is required with a BSN or enrolment in a BSN program preferred.  RNs and RPNs with a gerontological background will be considered.  A minimum of three years current clinical experience in intermediate and/or extended care is required.
