<p><strong>Duties: </strong>Applications are being sought for instructors to deliver courses in an individualized fashion in COTR’s Graduate Certificate in Global Studies Program.  We would encourage both existing faculty members and those interested to teach in our program to apply.  Courses are delivered on a continuous intake basis, pending student needs. Successful applicants will be included in our list of pre-qualified faculty members for future work assignments. <p><strong>Qualifications: </strong>In addition to a relevant master's degree or trades qualification, you will have a background in adult education as well as related education and experience in international trade, development and/or international affairs, including overseas and/or intercultural experience.  A working knowledge of online delivery and project management are also required.  The successful candidate will be outcomes driven and results-based.

<p><strong>Duties: </strong>Reporting to the Vice President, Education, this position is responsible for providing technical assistance to students, faculty, and staff for e-learning, educational technologies and other initiatives related to instructional innovation. S/he will collaborate with the e-learning specialist and other faculty to deliver best practices in online course implementation, and will research and collaborate with curriculum development teams to support innovations in teaching & learning. S/he will also design, write, and edit technical documentation for e-learning/educational technology. </p>
<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong>A diploma in Communications, Education Technology, Technical Writing, or related field is required. Formal coursework in other technology related fields is desirable.  Experience working with course management systems and technical writing/documentation is required. Open technology initiatives, basic HTML and graphic software knowledge is desired. A degree in a related field is desirable.</p>]]>

<p><strong>Duties: </strong>The successful candidate will instruct in the Hairdressing Program being offered in Golden.  The instructor must be able to provide both theoretical and practical skills training in the program.  The program is taught through regular lectures, demonstrations and practical hands-on training at the College and in local salons.  The instructor will supervise students in a 4 week practicum included in the program.  Curriculum is provided by the Cosmetology Industry Association of BC. The working schedule will be Monday through Thursday.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong>A fully qualified hairdresser with a minimum of five years of industry experience in salons is required. Preference will be given to an instructor with ITA Certification, and Membership in the Cosmetology Industry Association of BC is an asset. <p><strong>Duties: </strong>The College is indigenizing a number of its University Studies courses.  We are looking for Aboriginal scholars in a variety of disciplines to assist our faculty.  This work will be done for online and face-to-face delivery.  The successful candidate(s), working in close consultation/collaboration with faculty, will research and develop Moodle-based modules and/or applicable materials to support the indigenization of current curriculum.  It is expected that the successful applicant(s) will utilize relevant and current Indigenous scholarship and Aboriginal literacy as a foundation for their work.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong>An Aboriginal person with a graduate degree and content expertise is preferred.  Curriculum development and a working knowledge of online platforms, including Moodle, is a definite asset.
