International Students
How to Apply

Ranked #1 in BC and Canada, and #1 in the World for Student Satisfaction!

Step 1

Submit completed College of the Rockies International student application. No other documents are required at the time of application.

Step 2

After you receive confirmation of your application by College of the Rockies, pay a CAD$100 non-refundable application fee (payment instructions will be included with your confirmation) and provide a copy of your passport and school transcripts.  Once your application fee has been received, you will be sent an official Letter of Acceptance from the College by email.  Students from India will be required to pay one full semester of tuition fees as per visa requirements before the acceptance letter is issued.

Step 3

Pay your tuition fees before you apply for you Canada Study Permit. Canadian visa offices now require a tuition receipt to prove you are a serious student. Registration in individual classes cannot be completed until semester tuition fees and student fees are paid in full. Documents such as transcripts and certificates are required at this time.

Step 4

Use the Letter of Acceptance and official tuition fee receipt to obtain a Canada Study Permit from the nearest Canadian Visa Application Centre (VAC). Applications should be submitted at least three months before the semester start date if a Study Permit is required. No Study Permit is required if you are studying in Canada for less than six months, unless in a program with a practicum.
