Online Systems at COTR

COTR Network Account

  • Username (User ID) = 7 digit student number + prefix “c” in front (i.e.  c0099999)
  • Password (temporary) = student number (e.g.  c0099999)

Use for:

  • Accessing the Student Portal
  • Accessing college email
  • Accessing the college computers
  • Accessing the library databases and electronic resources (e-books, streaming videos, etc.)
  • Bursary and Scholarship application

COTR Library Account

  • Username = student number (e.g.  c0099999)
  • Password (temporary) = student number (e.g.  c0099999)

Use for:

  • Borrowing books and other resources
  • Renewing your items online
  • To check for fines or other fees
  • To request books and other resources when they are out
  • To request books and other resources when you are unable to visit the Cranbrook Campus

COTR Online (Moodle)

  • Username (User ID) = you create, we highly recommend you use your 7 digit student number + prefix “c” in front (i.e.  c0099999)
  • Password = you create, we recommend you use the same one you use for your other college accounts

Use for:

  • Accessing your online courses
  • Accessing supplementary information for your face-to-face courses
  • Accessing the college writing lab

Access COTR

  • User ID (Username) = 7 digit student number + prefix “c” in front (i.e.  c0099999)
  • Password: create a temporary password using What’s my password? process

Use for:

  • Adding & dropping courses
  • Paying your tuition
  • Checking your class schedule
  • Checking your grades and transcript
  • Viewing and printing tax forms
