Know the Symptoms
* Feeling depressed and hopeless
* Difficulty sleeping
* Increased high risk behaviours
* Suicidal thoughts
* Excessive weight gain or loss
* Feeling highly irritable or aggressive
* Unable to make decisions
* Abuse of alcohol and drugs
* Small problems seem overwhelming
Any of these symptoms by themselves may be passing signs of stress but if they cluster and become more persistent they should be cause for concern.
