Admission Requirements for Post-Degree Diploma & Certificate Programs
Students interested in applying for the Post-Degree Diploma or Certificate must meet the following criteria:
Diploma Program Requirements: students must have a degree from a recognized university/college or special permission from the Dean.
Certificate Program Requirements: students must have a degree in business or tourism from a recognized university/college or special permission from the Dean.
Additional Admission Requirements:
- English proficiency at the university/college level is required.
- Math proficiency at the university/college level is required
For International Students; for students for whom English is a second language, students must meet the grade 12 English equivalency posted on COTR’s Admissions & Registration website; or successful completion of a university/college level English course (e.g. ENGL 100).
Flexible Assessment: A minimum of 25% of program credits must be completed with College of the Rockies’ courses. For the Sustainable Business Practices Certificate, this amounts to at least 7.5 credits. In most cases, students will complete a minimum of three sustainability courses (i.e. MGMT 307, MGMT 310, and MGMT 410).
Transfer Credit: Credit may be granted for courses taken at other institutions on a case- by-case basis.
Graduation Requirements: Students must maintain an average grade of at least 65% and minimum course grades of at least 60% in all courses contributing to this credential.
