This course introduces students to the professional aspect of an early childhood educator. Students explore ethical issues, job responsibilities, funding, professional organizations and development, subsidy, budgets/payroll registering as an educator and, integrating the teachings of the medicine wheel, Licensing regulations, resumes, and career letters are also covered.
Prerequisites: ECED 129 and ECED 131, minimum 65% in English 12 or equivalent (refer to Course Equivalency Information on the College website).
