This course builds on MATH 113 and will focus on integrals and their applications. Topics include integration (definition, areas, average of a function, the fundamental theorem of calculus and integration techniques and applications), numerical integration, and first order differential equations and their applications. At least two of the following topics will also be covered: sequences and series; arc length, volumes, centroids and surface areas; Taylor polynomials; improper integrals; continuous probability density functions; further techniques of integration or additional numerical integration methods.
Prerequisites: MATH 103, 109, 113, or a score of 4 or 5 on the AP Calculus.
