The landform processes that shape the surface of the Earth will be studied along with a brief overview of the history of the earth and the materials of which it is made. Lecture and lab topics include the tectonic and volcanic forces that build landforms up, and the gradational forces of water, wind, and ice that reshape and wear landforms down. Topographic map and air-photo interpretation are integral to the lab activities.
