A continued philosophical examination of religious belief centering on the question of the rational justification for religious belief. In this course we examine the philosophical issues (metaphysical, epistemological, social, ethical, etc.) pertaining to the World's Religions, focusing on central aspects of religious belief such as the existence of God, the attributes of God, how one relates to God (both rationally and mystically), central doctrines of each religion and what constitutes the religious life within each religion. Both Eastern and Western religions will be examined.
Prerequisites: PHIL 101, 102, and 203 or consent of instructor.
