CYFS-220 - International In-service

The International In-service is designed for human service workers, early childhood educators, teachers, education assistants, health care practitioners and professionals in related fields of study interested in learning in an international volunteer service environment. The international in-service includes two 3 hour orientation sessions in Cranbrook, living with families in a home-stay environment in community, volunteering in community in related fields of study, and participating in a local language course.
Prerequisites: A certificate in Child, Youth and Family Studies or related field of study. Permission can be granted to students who have a keen interest in participating, and who have one year of post-secondary studies.
