As an introductory course to the fields of environmental studies and biology, Biology 151 focuses on environmental and ecological topics within biology. The course concentrates on the plant and animal relationships within nature, how the environment affects humans, how we impact the environment, and how to deal with environmental problems and live more sustainably. Local issues and current events topics are used as examples wherever possible. Biology 151 helps inform you about the issues behind many of these topics from a scientific perspective.
