This course explores the history and background of how society has dealt with diverse populations. Students examine the ways in which recreation and physical activity are structured in diverse groups (i.e., those with physical and mental disabilities) and learn to recognize and plan for the needs of these groups and individuals.
Prerequisites: A minimum grade of C- (55%) in RECR 150.
Delivery Method: On-Campus Online
Lab Required: Yes - please note courses with labs are charged an additional fee of $24.82 per course credit.
