All students that apply to the College are required to pay the $30 application fee. The application fee for international students is $100. Trades Apprenticeship students who are new to the College pay a one-time application fee per trade.

For credit based courses there is an $11.50 student association fee for each course. The maximum student associate fee is 3 courses per semester for a total of $34.50. Some programs (Trades, Vocational & Health) are charged based on number of weeks they are in session. For these programs the student association fee is $2.30 per week of study (an 8 week program is charged $2.30 x 8 weeks = $18.40 fee).

The Citation in Human Service Work (HSWC) offers potential students in the human/social services field, who do not qualify academically for entrance into the HSW Diploma, a way to take part in post-secondary education related to their employment. Human service employees are hired locally and across the country in careers that support individuals and families managing physical and cognitive disabilities, mental health concerns, addictions, and other risk related issues.
General skills developed: Specific skills and knowledge for employment with populations at risk; for example, children and youth with mental health and addictions issues. Other skills developed in this program are conflict resolution and crisis intervention, plus skills and knowledge related to adolescent developmental concerns.
Program Completion and employment opportunities: Citation students who are already employed in the social services will be able to pursue employment in more specialized areas providing direct interventions to client groups and individuals where appropriate. The HSW Diploma/Citation level courses have been developed in response to community needs and have proven to be well accepted by previous graduates and their employers.
Grade 12 graduation with a minimum of C+ in English 12, English 090 or 091, or First Nations English 12 or assessment to acceptable level to determine eligibility
Note: Current or previous employment in the human/social service field is recommended. Instructor/coordinator permission is accepted in special circumstances.
