Program Overview

This two semester program exposes students to a combination of visual, language and performing arts courses. The Fine Arts Certificate Program provides students the opportunity to explore their creative side. Students need to take the required courses which give them an overview of history, philosophy and practice. Students can then select courses in creative writing, acting, painting, drawing and sculpture allowing them a venue to discern their talent.


Admission Requirements

Minimum 65% in English 12 or equivalent or ENGL 090 or ENGL 091

  • ENGL 101 - Introduction to Poetry and Drama or ENGL 102 Introduction to Prose Fiction
  • FA 100 - Introduction to Fine Arts or FA 101 Contemporary Art: A History
