This is a four-year program that integrates social, economic and environmental theories and applications for sustainable business practices in a wide variety of fields. Associate of Arts Degree
The College of the Rockies Associate of Arts (AA) degree is equivalent to the first two years of a bachelor’s degree in Arts. Students can choose to complete an AA degree in General Studies or in Journalism / Writing. Students are encouraged to consult with an Education Advisor prior to course selection.

The University of Victoria, in association with the College of the Rockies in Cranbrook, offers a full-time teacher education program leading to certification and degrees in elementary education. This program provides Kootenay residents a unique opportunity to gain a Bachelor of Education degree while remaining close to home.

Bachelor of Science Nursing
COTR, in co-operation with local hospitals and agencies, offers five semesters and two consolidated practice experiences of the CAEN Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program with direct block transfer to the University of Victoria for three semesters. Semester six is offered by the University of Victoria at our Cranbrook Campus.

University Transfer Opportunities
We also have agreements in place to allow you to transfer course credits to a number of institutions in BC, Alberta, across Canada, and internationally. You can choose to transfer credits individually or, in some cases, as an entire two-year block.
