Description / duties:
Leading: Through the Kidney Walk campaign the Participant Promotions team members will work with the Cranbrook Kidney Walk Coordinators and a volunteer teams to assist with the marketing and promotion of the this annual signature fundraising campaign taking place at Confederation Park this August. Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Key responsibilities of the position include:
• Work with Kidney Walk Coordinators to actively promote organ donation awareness in BC through 2012 Kidney Walk campaign
• Research and identify participant target groups within the local community
• Create promotional opportunities for groups to participate in 2012 Cranbrook Kidney Walk event
• Assist in the coordination of volunteer promotions teams for Kidney Walk in Cranbrook
• Assist in the setting up and assigning of tasks to volunteer committee
• Help other committee members and volunteers as needed
• Assist with the distribution of poster, pledge forms and other promotional materials
• Liaise with KFOC volunteer chapter members regarding local community opportunities
• Maintain accurate records
