Room & Board in Exchange for Part Time Child Care

Qualifications:
Minimum one year child care related education: COTR ECE, COTR EA, UVic EDUC, etc. Preference will be given to an individual who has completed their first year in the COTR ECE program, and can provide references from within the program. Completion of First Aid

Description / duties:
We live in a four bedroom home in Lower Highlands. We are looking for a qualified individual to look after our children while we work in the evenings. Our children are one, three, and seven. Applicant MUST have a reliable, safe, vehicle.

We have a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom available. We are looking for a childcare situation, in which we are willing to exchange room and board for approx. 15 hours of evening childcare per week, throughout Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include picking three children up from public child care facilities each day at 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Bring them home, cook dinner for the family, prepare children for bedtime routine.

Schedule:

Monday 5:00-7:00pm
Tuesday 5:00-7:00pm
Wednesday 5:00-7:00pm
Thursday 5:00-9:30pm
Friday 5:00-9:30pm (Fridays will be flexible dependant on parents scheduled)
