Prevention Services Contract Opportunity - Creston and Surrounding Area

The BC Responsible & Problem Gambling Program is interested in contracting an educator/prevention provider in the Creston, BC area, responsible for Creston and surrounding area. Contract deliverables include education with elementary, middle school, high school, and post secondary students; community awareness events and projects; educating other helping professionals about our services, and working with communities and community organizations in striving for a healthy balance in the lives of the individuals and for the community as a whole.

We are looking for community oriented individuals with a background in the helping professions; addiction experience is an asset. A bachelors degree in social work, education, or a related field is preferred. This contract will be approximately 60 hours per month and compensated at $40,000/contract year, plus travel and expense dollars. You are required to complete an Request for Qualification currently posted at, under the Ministry of Attorney General, labelled: PP-12-17.
