Description / duties:
The primary function of this position is to provide meaningful, personalized support for individuals in their home and community.

Shifts/Schedule:

On Call - Casual; Must be available for shifts including days, evenings and weekends. Casual hours are available with the possibility of leading to part-time or full-time positions.

Compensation:

As Per Collective Agreement ($17.47)

Qualifications:
The successful applicant will have relevant post-secondary education and/or experience in supporting individuals with varying degrees of developmental and physical disabilities. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of current issues and practices, human values in delivery of service, and a strong ability to plan and work independently while actively involving individuals in this process. A positive and pleasant work attitude, effective communication skills and the ability to relate positively to the public are essential.

Must possess or be willing & able to obtain a valid BC Class 4 Driver’s License, First Aid/CPR Certification, Caring About Food Safety, and be able to meet all other CSCL employment criteria (i.e. Criminal Record Check clearance, Doctor’s Certificate of Good Health, etc.).
