Do you have LPN experience in a community care setting? Are you a proven leader that wants to make an impact in the lives of others while working with an experienced and dedicated team? Interior Health is currently seeking casual Team Lead Home Support Services/Community Care Licensed Practical Nurses for the Boundary Hospital.

As the Community Licensed Practical Nurse you will coordinate Home Support Services by supervising Community Health Workers, overseeing the implementation of client care plans, provide training and evaluation of personal care techniques, and provide advocacy services.

In collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, you will perform assessments as well as plan, implement, and provide personal and nursing care to clients in a community health setting. You will consistently provide nursing procedures within the LPN Standards of Practice as outlined by College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia.

This is a Casual opportunity. Casual means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements may vary from 0 - 37.5 hours per week. Days of work will be rotating; Hours of work: 07:30 to 16:00.

• Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses
• One (1) year of recent, related acute care or residential experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current, full practicing licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia (CLPNBC).
• Current valid BC Driver’s License.
