Tourism and Recreation Management
Secondary school graduation (or equivalent). Applicants who can demonstrate prior industry experience may be admitted as mature students through consultation with the Program Coordinator and/or Education Advisor. Students must have at least a C standing in English 12 or English 090 or 091 or EFP 12 or TPC 12.
• A minimum of 60% in Principles, Applications or Foundations Math 11 or Pre-calculus; or MATH 080 or MATH 082 is required for ACCT 261 and is recommended for ACCT 263. (TRMP students only require ACCT 263)
Basic computer skills are also recommended.
Prior Learning Assessment (PLA):
Learners may request formal recognition for prior learning at the College of the Rockies through one or more of the following processes: External Evaluation, Worksite Assessment, Demonstration, Standardized Test, Self-assessment, Interview, Products/Portfolio, Challenge Exam.
